DUPONT D57 AS NEW

Really unmissable and above all almost impossible to find a specimen of D57 practically new. The lighter is gold plated with wide vertical band design and still in excellent aesthetic conditions and perfect mechanical efficiency. WARNING Why this is not the usual DuPont easily available on the market but represents the first speed of gas-powered lighter marketed by the French maison in nowhoot 1953. Only 290,000 specimens were produced; try to think, after almost seventy years, the number of “survivors” can be small and above all how many of these are, I repeat, like new … The three features that differentiate it from normal standard models are the valve of disappointed charging, the Pietrina door slide and the particular mechanism contained in the cylinder placed at the top of the ignition roller which means that the flow of the gas is not delivered at the time of the opening of the hood but only at the time of the pop of the spark. Series E6310, plating 20 microns, weight 105.40 grams, sizes 57x34x13 mm. Of course the lighter has been revised and is therefore guaranteed original factory and lacking.
